Core Concepts

Understanding these core concepts will help you get the most out of Premonize.

Projects

A project is the core unit in Premonize. Each project represents a product or idea you're launching and includes:

  • Subdomain - A unique URL where your project lives (e.g., myapp.premonize.com)
  • Branding - Custom logo, colors, and fonts to match your brand
  • Modules - Waitlist, Changelog, and Feedback - enable what you need

Waitlist

The waitlist module helps you collect email signups before launch. Key features include position tracking, referral system, and gamification elements.

Referral System

The referral system lets subscribers share unique links. When someone signs up through their link, the referrer moves up in the queue.

How Referrals Work

  1. User signs up for the waitlist
  2. They receive a unique referral link
  3. When someone signs up through their link, they move up
  4. The more referrals, the higher their position

Changelog

The changelog module lets you share product updates with your audience. Posts can have different types to categorize your updates.

Post Types

  • new - New features and additions
  • improvement - Enhancements to existing features
  • fix - Bug fixes and corrections

Feedback

The feedback board lets users submit ideas and vote on features. This helps you prioritize based on real user demand.

Feedback Statuses

  • idea - New submission, not yet reviewed
  • planned - Accepted and scheduled for development
  • in_progress - Currently being worked on
  • completed - Implemented and released

Analytics

Built-in analytics help you understand how your launch is performing:

  • Track daily and total signups
  • Monitor referral performance and top referrers
  • See where your signups are coming from (UTM, referrer)
  • Measure changelog reactions and feedback votes
